Yo podría vivir en París. Emboscado en mi buhardilla, escribiría relatos y poemas bohemios que nadie leería. Hallaría mi patria diurna en los museos y dejaría que la noche me besara con aliento de absenta en los antros que vieron nacer la decadencia.

I could live in Paris. Ambushed in my loft, I’d write bohemian tales and poems that nobody would read. In the daytime, I’d find my homeland in the museums and I would let the night kiss me with absinth breath in the joints where decadence was born.
